Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Environment Office has organized the “Bangkok Flora Festival” from January until July of this year as a New Year gift for Bangkok residents and to promote domestic tourism.

Asawin Kwanmuang, Governor of Bangkok, revealed that according to Bangkok by the Office of the Environment has organized tourism promotion activities and as a New Year’s gift to Bangkok residents in 2022 under the activity “Bangkok Flora Festival” by creating flower fields in the middle of 4 Bangkok parks between January – July 2022.

Bangkok has organized a festival to see sunflower fields, amounting to 30,000 plants planted on an area of 4 rai in Wachirabenjathat Park (Rot Fai Park), Chatuchak District, by selecting the Vincent Brown Center sunflower variety, which has a distinctive feature, which is a hybrid. without pollen make people allergic to pollen can appreciate the beauty up close harmless where people can visit and take pictures It is a recreation and tourism promotion throughout this January.

The second phase of the festival will be held in March at Wanapirom Romklao Park in Lat Krabang district and will feature spider flowers as the highlight.
The third phase will be held in May at Mahakarn Fort Park in Phra Nakhon district. The event will focus on the variety of cosmos.
The festival will be concluded in July at Chatuchak Park in Chatuchak district, where participants can appreciate the beauty of verbena finesse, among other flowers.
A total of 160,000 flowers are expected to be displayed throughout the four phases of the Bangkok Flora Festival, while participants must strictly adhere to Covid-19 preventive measures.
