State Railway of Thailand (SRT) continues its Floating Train Day Trip until 27 February.

State Railway of Thailand (SRT) had announced that the popular Floating Train Day Trip that starts from Hua Lamphong and passes through Pa Sak Jolasid Dam will continue until 27 February.

Ticket prices for the round-trip journey from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Pa Sak Jolasid Dam are 560 Baht per person (second-class seat in air-conditioned carriages) and 330 Baht per person (third-class seat in regular carriages). The service is also available for group tours who want a private rail wagon.

The Head of the PR department at State Railway of Thailand (SRT), Ekarat Sriarayanpong, announced the continuation of the day trip rail line called Floating Train or Rod Fai Loi Nam. Thanks to its popularity among tourists.

The program schedule is the next one.

  • At 9:50 am, the train stops at the resting area to let passengers visit OTOP gift shops and restaurants
  • At 10:35 am, the train stop for resting area passengers to visit nearby tourist attractions
  • At 3:30 am, the train leaves Pa Sak Jolasid Dam and heads to Bangkok
  • At 6:50 am, the train arrives at Hua Lamphong
