‘Hua Hin: The World-Class City of Relaxation’ to come true

​​Hua Hin Municipality and Silpakorn University jointly organized a panel discussion on the topic ‘Hua Hin: The World-Class City of Relaxation’, and the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to drive Hua Hin to become the health tourism city, the city ​​of relaxation.

Yesterday, February 21, 2022, at Naresdamri room, Hua Hin Municipality Office, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin, along with Assistant Thai Chamber of Commerce/President of Thai Spa Association Mrs. Kulpramote Wannalert, Director of Marketing Operations Group for Europe, Africa, Middle East and America, jointly discussed the topic ‘Hua Hin: The World-Class City of Relaxation’ together with council members, head officials, guests of honor, and press, presenting a broader picture of the activities and the driving mechanisms in bringing Hua Hin to be a health tourism city or the city ​​of relaxation.

The discussion covered the development of Hua Hin as an inclusive tourism city with civilized architecture. The mayor of Hua Hin stated that currently, the plans to restructure Hua Hin have been moving forward; the city design study plan in the form of a special administrative region for tourism aligned with the world-class level, which will be the first city in the country, and seeking experts to be part of this mega project. He also addressed the importance of smooth collaboration among the public sector, the private sector, and people.

After that, an MOU signing ceremony was held between Hua Hin Municipality and Silpakorn University, aiming to coordinate the development in various fields, in all dimensions for Hua Hin. The university will support the body of knowledge, innovation, technology, academics, and personnel as requested by the Hua Hin Municipality for the project to improve the quality of life and the well-being of the community to be more efficient, according to the vision of the city, “Hua Hin, the City of Happiness”.
