Intensive inspection of Chonburi service centers following the first day of service to prevent coviral-19 infection


Reporters reported that at 8:30 p.m. on June 1, Pol. Col. Ekkarat Malawanno, deputy superintendent of Muang Chonburi Police Station lead the police officers of Chonburi City Police Station checked the places of service, pubs, karaoke, restaurants to check the business licenses, liquor business and permission to open a store.

According to the order of Chonburi Contagious Disease Committee No. control measures have been put in place. The target places are places that may spread diseases, service places, establishments that look like service places, entertainment places. In order to open the service, the operator or person in charge of the place must prepare the place in accordance with the safety measures for the organization (COVID – Free Setting) and must check the readiness of the staff, service providers and operators. To open the service, the sale and consumption of alcohol or alcoholic beverages in the store may be done no later than 24:00, refraining from any activity that could cause congestion.
In addition, the staff under their responsibility must have a complete vaccination according to the criteria set by the government including receiving a booster dose and if it is a service that is in close contact with the user, it must wear a mask at all times. COVID-19 testing is performed weekly using a test kit and reagents related to the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection (COVID-19 pathogen. ATK).
The operator or person in charge of the facility must screen service users for safety. The service will only be provided to service users who provide proof of meeting the government-mandated vaccination criteria and who have received a booster dose. Individuals at risk of contracting COVID-19 with severe symptoms or a high risk of death are advised to avoid using services at these locations.
