“Prachaup Food Festival 2022” invites visitors to try famous cuisine


The Prachuap Khiri Khan food festival “Prachaup Food Festival 2022” held a press conference at the At T Boutique Hotel in the Prachuap Khiri Khan District. Mr. Komkrit Charoenpatanasombat, the Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, presided over the press conference for the “Prachaup Food Festival 2022.”

Mr. Komkrit Charoenpatanasombat stated that the Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Prachuap Provincial Tourism Business Association, will hold the Prachuap Food Festival 2022 on September 16-18, from 16.00-23.00 at the Chaloem Phrakiat Park, Rama IX Park, Prachuap City. The event’s goal is to boost tourism and the economy in Prachuap and neighbouring provinces, as well as to produce and distribute revenue for small and large entrepreneurs, and to develop hotel, restaurant, and accommodation preparedness.

Among the many distinguished guests who attended the press conference were Mr. Isara Satanaset, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Prachuap Khiri Khan Office; Mr. Udomsuk Nimsian, President of the Tourism Business Association, Prachuap Khiri Khan; and Mr. Noppadon Nuchcharoen, Advisor of Cha-am Chef Club.

Aside from travellers enjoying great meals from famous restaurants and leading hotels with the best food to present a range of menus, more than 50 stores will also organise activities to promote tourism at the event.

The programme “TOP RUN, Runway, Talay Sam Ao,” which benefits the Khum Klao Foundation and is under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, is split into a 21-kilometer half marathon. as well as a 5 km Fun Run route connecting Wing 5: Ao Prachuap: Ao Noi: Ao Manao to the street art path to provide colour and intrigue.

“Another option is to ride a tourist tram with informative speakers along the way four times a day throughout the festival.” Visitors will be able to see the city of three bays. Experience the thrill of shopping for high-quality goods, such as those offered in local neighbourhood stores that will bring the allure of freshly caught fish that will be offered at a discount for the duration of this event.

There are fascinating competitions held in the kitchen to see who has the greatest cooks. (Preparing a unique cuisine using regional foods and seafood in order to make a savoury dessert) Prizes worth more than 16,000 Thai Baht in total will be offered.

Over the course of the following three days, a band will share the stage with both well-known and up-and-coming local musicians.  Pause (16th September), Burin Boonvisut (17th September), and Naem Ronnadej (18th September).

The opportunity to sample “3 Bay Pineapple Fried Rice,” a dish that is exclusive to the province of Prachuap, is the most noteworthy feature of the opening day, which takes place on September 16. 64 pans of stir-fried food, prepared by expert chefs, will be available for the honoured guests and all of the people who attend the event to sample. The event will be held in a setting that is near to the water and will have live bands, including a variety of activities, some of which include shows and food demos given by seasoned chefs. Therefore, anybody who is interested as well as visitors are encouraged to come to the event between September 16 and September 18.
