Chonburi Transport Arrests a Bolt Driver for Driving the Wrong Type of Vehicle


The Bolt app is currently gaining traction among the unemployed. People who wish to boost their income, especially those who enjoy a freelancing profession, can use the Bolt app, which serves as a communication tool between drivers and service customers. It quickly gained popularity and expanded.

The Department of Land Transport Chonburi Province, in collaboration with traffic police at Muang Pattaya Police Station, randomly detected people using private cars to pick up passengers via the Bolt app in Pattaya City in front of Central Pattaya Beach in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, on November 24, 2022.

Chonburi Province’s Department of Land Transport officials According to reports, by randomly recognizing those who provide pick-up and drop-off services using the program, they are indeed guilty since they have all driven private automobiles without permission. This is illegal if not properly registered, including driving without a public license not able to provide service.

The transport officer will issue a ticket following the random examination of the offenders. Afterwards, make a trip to the local transportation office to settle your fine. If you use the inappropriate sort of vehicle, you will be fined not more than 2,000 baht.
