To better tackle current economic problems, the Prime Minister has requested that all government departments thoroughly review their expenditure plans for the 2024 fiscal year.
The government agencies in Thailand have just received a budget planning strategy from Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, with a preliminary allocation of 3.35 trillion baht for fiscal year 2024. He warned that anyone implicated in wrongdoing or fraud in government spending will be held accountable to severe penalties.
The 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan incorporates national security, competitiveness, human resources, opportunities and social equity, environmentally responsible growth, and enhanced government services; these are all priorities that will be reflected in the government’s fiscal 2024 budget.
To further secure a prosperous future, the prime minister urged everyone to chip in to improve Thailand’s economic infrastructure.
