The road on Srinakarin Road collapsed, leaving a 2-meter-deep pit and major traffic jams

Last evening at 5:00 p.m. on January 18, 2023, the reporter was informed that Srinakarin Road Legs were heading to the electrical junction. Before reaching Lotus Department Store, about 500 meters, Bang Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Prakan Province. There was a sinkhole in the middle of the road, in the middle lane, about 1 meter wide, 2 meters long, and deeper than 2 meters.

As a result, the Samrong Nuea Police Station blocked traffic in two channels, the left lane and the middle lane, so that the Samut Prakan Highway will be able to repair the road. Due to the occurrence of such a pothole in the road cause rush hour traffic on Srinakarin Road and Theparak Road, jammed at the end of a long line for many kilometers. Such repairs will take several hours. The officials therefore urge road users to avoid such paths.

The officials had already plugged the hole by 8:00 p.m. by bringing steel plates to cover the hole for strength before allowing traffic through. And we will continue to repair and restore the traffic surface tomorrow.
