20 million people are expected to visit Thailand for the Songkran Festival

The government’s spokesman, Anucha Burapachaisri, stated that the Thai government has given its full support for the next Songkran Celebration, which will take place from April 13-15. State agencies are being instructed to arrange lavish festivities for the day. According to the officials, between 17 and 20 million visitors are anticipated to visit Thailand throughout the holiday season.

Visitors are advised to get the “I Lert U” smartphone app, which allows users to report difficulties and request assistance, to protect their safety. Furthermore, it locates the caller and delivers assistance using the phone’s GPS signal. The software is accessible in Thai, English, Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Arabic, and the majority of Southeast Asian languages.
