The opening of a new multi-purpose building at Koh Sichang School in Chonburi Province was presided over by Mr. Wittaya Khun Pluem, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, and Mr. Decha Chanlek, Chairman of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization Council, among other officials. The ceremony was attended by school administrators, teachers, students, and volunteers. Thirty scholarships were awarded to students who perform well academically but come from low-income families.
Koh Sichang School is a medium-sized institution that currently has 362 students and 30 educational personnel. The school’s administration recognized that students nowadays have easy access to digital media, including mobile phones, which can lead them to spend their free time unproductively, such as gambling, viewing pornographic content, or watching violent content.
To address this issue, the school embarked on a project to request support for the construction of a multi-purpose building. The budget was approved for the fiscal year 2022, and the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization provided financial support amounting to 3,883,000 baht. The multi-purpose building will be used for teaching and learning activities, recreational sports during school hours, and various school and community activities outside of class hours.
