Hua Hin City Mayor, Kittiphan Feuangfu, recently presided over a ceremony where he bestowed the prestigious Smart City Ambassadors 2 (SCA#2) certificates upon Mr. Kittit Thanakomnansom, the Secretary to the Mayor of Hua Hin City. The event took place on June 14 at the Grand Hall on the third floor of True Digital Park in Bangkok. Acting as the chairman was Mr. Chaiwut Thammakomanusorn, the Minister of Digital Economy and Society. The occasion also saw the presence of Dr. Natthapol Nimmannaphatcharin, the Director of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), who provided a comprehensive report. Distinguished guests and representatives from relevant agencies attended the ceremony.
The Hua Hin Municipal Council has enthusiastically embraced the Smart City Ambassadors 2 (SCA#2) initiative, launched by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency. This groundbreaking program aims to foster smart city development by offering fresh graduates the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field. As members of the new generation of digital city developers, the Smart City Ambassadors 2 will actively participate in real projects within the region.
The SCA#2 program has a duration of 12 months, spanning from September 2565 to August 2566. To date, it has made remarkable progress over a span of 9 months, thanks to the collaborative efforts of visionary city leaders and agencies with expertise in smart city development. These leaders and agencies have played a pivotal role in supporting and promoting the work of the new generation of digital city developers in the area.
The Smart City Ambassadors 2 program provides an invaluable platform for recent graduates to immerse themselves in practical experiences and contribute to the advancement of smart city initiatives. By harnessing their knowledge and enthusiasm, these ambassadors will drive innovation and assist in transforming Hua Hin into a smarter and more sustainable city.
