On a recent day at Naresuan Pa La U Border Patrol Police School, Moo 3, Huai Sua Yai Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, the atmosphere was filled with joy and compassion as the Smile Mobile District project for 2023 was inaugurated. Mr. Polkrit Phuangvalaisin, the esteemed Hua Hin District Chief of Prachuap Province, presided over the event, aiming to spread happiness and create smiles among the people.
The gathering witnessed an impressive collaboration between the government, local authorities, private sector, and the community, all coming together to make this event a success. Diverse government agencies extended their services to the public, offering free general medical examinations, dental care provided by Hua Hin Hospital, and essential information on common and land laws. The district livestock officials also provided valuable advice, ensuring the attendees were well-informed.
Among the many services offered, the haircut facility brought convenience and grooming to the people, while local products were sold, promoting community enterprises and supporting the local economy. Beyond the practical assistance, the event aimed to foster connections, enabling the understanding of the challenges and needs faced by the people in the region. This understanding would pave the way for effective problem-solving and alleviating suffering, creating a stronger, more supportive community.
Huai Sua Yai Subdistrict and nearby areas witnessed a large number of attendees who traveled to avail of the services provided. Their satisfaction with the seamless and efficient delivery of services exemplified the event’s success in brightening lives and making a positive impact on the community.
Notably, the event was graced by the presence of the compassionate Sheriff of Hua Hin and the Prime Minister of the Red Cross, Hua Hin District. Their benevolence shone through as they distributed relief bags and essential goods, aimed at helping those who are less fortunate, disadvantaged, elderly, and disabled. A total of 70 sets of relief packages reached 11 villages, touching the lives of many. Additionally, the team paid visits to poor households and bedridden patients, ensuring that no one was left without support during these challenging times.
The Smile Mobile District project exemplified the spirit of unity, care, and empathy, showcasing how collective efforts can transform lives and create smiles that radiate through the community.
