Mobile Agricultural Clinic Project Launched in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to Support Farmers

On July 20, 2023, at Khao Lan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan, Deputy Governor acting on behalf of the Governor of Prachuap Province, presided over the momentous opening ceremony of the Mobile Agricultural Clinic Project. The auspicious occasion was graced by the honor of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday on July 28, 2023.

The opening ceremony witnessed the participation of esteemed individuals, including Mr. Somjate Chareonsong, Thap Sakae District Chief, and Mr. Chatchai Srisanok, Provincial Agriculture Officer, along with local farmers. A total of 13 mobile agricultural clinics were unveiled, each specialized in addressing various aspects of farming and providing essential services to the farming community.

These mobile clinics encompass a wide array of services, including plant clinics, soil clinics, fisheries clinics, livestock clinics, cooperative clinics, cooperative auditing clinics, irrigation clinics, rice clinics, land reform clinics, rubber clinics, animal feed clinics, mulberry silk clinics, and FPO (Farmer Producer Organization) clinics. Additionally, related agencies have joined hands in providing assistance, with a focus on addressing issues like soil analysis and diagnosing plant and animal diseases.

Acting Major Adisak Noisuwan expressed heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty the King for steadfastly carrying forward the aspirations of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen, as well as Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Following in the footsteps of His Majesty the King, the Crown Prince has devoted himself to the welfare of the people, continually seeking solutions to their challenges and alleviating their suffering in various fields, including agriculture, education, water management, and environmental conservation.

The Mobile Agricultural Clinic Project is a testament to the Crown Prince’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of farmers in the region. The initiative aims to provide on-site problem-solving and knowledge transfer, offering comprehensive services that bring together expert personnel, equipment, tools, and agricultural expertise. This project proves to be highly beneficial for farmers, empowering them with resources to enhance agricultural production efficiency and overcome challenges they may encounter.
