On August 1, a shocking video clip surfaced, showing a foreigner brandishing a gun and intimidating a group of Kuwaiti tourists at a Pattaya view point. The clip, about 1.30 minutes long, was captured by a concerned citizen who wished to remain anonymous.
In the video, the man, believed to be in his 20s or 30s and approximately 170 centimeters tall, can be seen wearing a black shirt and spreading his legs while holding the firearm. He confronts and frightens the group of more than 10 Kuwaiti tourists, even pointing the gun at the head of one of them.
The incident occurred at the Khao Sor Ror view point in Nong Prue Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province, within the area of Pattaya City.
Although the clip was secretly recorded by a good Samaritan, it is unclear whether the tourists have reported the incident to the authorities. The terrifying event has left the tourists and witnesses shaken, raising concerns about their safety.
The public is urging the police to swiftly track down the perpetrator and bring him to justice. Additionally, they hope for the preservation of Pattaya’s reputation as such incidents can tarnish the image of the city known for its tourism.
