In a heartwarming display of community support, a delegation led by Miss Pailin Kongphan, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin City and President of the Hua Hin Municipality Social Assistance Center, recently paid a visit to vulnerable patients residing under the royal patronage of Samo Riang community. This meaningful visit was a collaborative effort, with various key figures coming together to extend their compassion to those in need.
Accompanied by members of the Municipality Council District 2, the delegation included Ms. Orawan Saensomboon, Director of the Social Welfare Division, Ms. Rujapa La-ongjit, Head of the Social Work Department, Mrs. Rosukon Luansak, a seasoned nurse with specialized expertise and Acting Director of the Medical Division, as well as Ms. Thidarat Pengklai, a dedicated social worker from the Office of Social Development and Human Security in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The visit to two vulnerable patients, both facing physical disabilities and brain-related challenges, was conducted in collaboration with Major Adisak Noisuwan, Deputy Governor of the province, and Acting Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, General Krit Puangwalaisin. Also lending their support were Hua Hin District Chief, Mrs. Usa Puangwalaisin, and the President of the Red Cross Branch in Hua Hin District, Mr. Jenwit Phalisak. The Hua Hin District Public Health team was actively involved, demonstrating a collective commitment to the welfare of the community.
During their visit, the delegation engaged with the patients, inquiring about their health and daily life routines. These vulnerable patients have received royal patronage from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn since 2001. They are an integral part of the Samo Riang community in Hua Hin Municipality.
This humanitarian mission went beyond words, as the committees involved generously provided essential consumer goods to alleviate the hardships faced by these individuals in their daily lives. The visit was a testament to the enduring spirit of unity and care within the community, reflecting the values upheld by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
