In a recent compassionate endeavor, Mr. Banlue Kullavanit, Chairman of the Pattaya City Council, accompanied by officials from the Pattaya Social Welfare Office, undertook a meaningful journey. They set forth to provide much-needed wheelchairs to two elderly residents residing in Village No. 4, Na Kluea Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The recipients, Mrs. Somboon Chaiwat and Mrs. Wanthanee Charoenchokchaipanich, both facing mobility challenges in their advanced years, were graciously assisted through the initiative, highlighting the city’s dedication to supporting its vulnerable members.
The impetus for this compassionate gesture stems from the Social Welfare Office at Pattaya City receiving a generous donation of 10 wheelchairs from local hotel establishments. These wheelchairs are designated for elderly individuals and those with physical disabilities who face financial constraints and struggle with mobility. Anyone in need can reach out to the Social Welfare Office at the 1st floor of Building 1 at Pattaya City Hall via phone at 038 253 261.
It’s essential to note that once the wheelchairs are no longer needed, recipients are kindly requested to return them to the Pattaya City Social Welfare Office. This gesture ensures that the wheelchairs can be passed on to other elderly individuals and those in need who may not have the means to acquire them. The initiative underscores the city’s commitment to assisting and uplifting the lives of its less fortunate community members, providing a glimpse of hope and support in their daily lives.
