MaJo 90th Anniversary Cycling Team Embarks on Southern Expedition

In a noteworthy celebration, the MaJo Alumni Association of Phetchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan extended a warm welcome to the MaJo 90th Anniversary Cycling Team, comprising cyclists from the southern provinces of Thailand. The 23-province journey, spanning from Betong to Mae Sai to Mae Jo, commenced on December 1, 2023. The cycling expedition, led by Mr. Ananchai (Ton) Kimjai, the president of the MaJo Alumni Association of Phetchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan, embarked on its route from the fuel station at Khao Pho, Bangsaphan Noi district.

On December 1, 2023, at the Khao Pho point, the cycling enthusiasts gathered at the gas station in Bangsaphan Noi district. Mr. Ananchai (Ton) Kimjai, the president of the MaJo Alumni Association of Phetchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan, along with his team, including Mr. Suwit Songkram (48) and Mr. Daeng Maprakob (51), expressed their heartfelt welcome and presented a token of appreciation to the MaJo 90th Anniversary Cycling Team, consisting of 20 cyclists led by Mr. Suea Chumphon (MaJo ’56), the president of the MaJo Alumni Association in Chumphon.

Mr. Suea Chumphon (MaJo ’56) commended the strength and resilience displayed by the MaJo 90th Anniversary Cycling Team, applauding all 20 members for their remarkable dedication to the expedition.

Subsequently, the MaJo Alumni Association of Phetchaburi-Prachuap Khiri Khan took charge of the 20 bicycles, embarking on a challenging 224-kilometer journey through Prachuap Khiri Khan province from December 1 to 5. The expedition’s route extended to Ratchaburi province, demonstrating the team’s commitment to their cycling cause.

In a closing note, Mr. Suwit Songkram (MaJo ’48), a former provincial public relations officer in charge of five provinces, expressed his gratitude to the MaJo Alumni Association of Chumphon and the supportive families for their invaluable assistance and handed over commemorative shirts as tokens of appreciation.

This cycling event not only marks a significant milestone for the MaJo Alumni Association but also exemplifies the spirit of unity and dedication among its members, making it a memorable journey for all involved.
