In a bid to promote both health and tourism in Hua Hin District, Mayor of Hua Hin has instituted a weekly walking-running initiative, engaging Mr. Jeerawat Pramanee, the Permanent Secretary of the Municipality, alongside heads of various government agencies and municipal staff. The picturesque mangrove forest area surrounding Khao Krailas Temple in Nong Kae Subdistrict plays host to this weekly rendezvous, held every Wednesday.
The primary goal of this initiative is to underscore the significance of regular exercise in preventing diseases, emphasizing personal responsibility for health. The Municipality has outlined five core policies to guide their health-centric approach: exercise, safe food practices, emotional and mental well-being, community health, and combatting drug addiction.
This week’s activity revolves around a captivating photo session, accompanied by a check-in, a communal walk, and exercise around the scenic Khao Krailas Temple. The event aligns seamlessly with the HUAHIN STRONG model, reflecting a commitment to holistic well-being.
Scheduled for every Wednesday afternoon, the program not only fosters a healthier lifestyle among participants but also offers a unique perspective on Hua Hin’s tourist attractions. Notably, it aims to extend an invitation to the executive team, municipal council members, heads of government agencies, and affiliated employees to partake in this collective effort. The overarching objective is to showcase unity while concurrently spreading the message on social media platforms, utilizing the hashtag #InviteToTravelToHuaHin.
This initiative stands as a testament to Hua Hin’s dedication to fostering community well-being, with officials and employees actively participating in a joint effort to encourage a healthier lifestyle and boost local tourism.
