Recently the Hua Hin Shooting Sports Association successfully organized the HUAHIN IDPA CHAMPIONSHIP 2024, themed “WE ARE ZERO!” at the Shooting Sports Field, Hua Hin Shooting Sports Association, Bo Fai Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The competition, held from February 3-4, attracted significant attention with over 350 IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) athletes competing fiercely.
The atmosphere at the Shooting Sports Field was charged with anticipation as Mr. Chanchai Kransoot, the President of the Hua Hin Shooting Sports Association, steered the proceedings of the highly anticipated HUAHIN IDPA CHAMPIONSHIP 2024. The event marked a significant milestone for the association, drawing in a remarkable turnout of over 350 participants, showcasing their prowess in the International Defensive Pistol Association’s disciplines.
The competition featured a comprehensive array of categories, spanning nine different gun divisions, each further divided into five distinct groups. The magnitude of the championship was underscored by the inclusion of a team competition, fostering camaraderie and strategic collaboration among participants.
A noteworthy highlight of the championship was the substantial prize pool comprising 21 trophies and 238 medal awards. Gratitude was extended to sponsors, including Hua Hin Shooting Range, Thaiarms, TSS TacGear, Siam Precision, RIGA SPORT, and KN Orange Juice, for their integral support.
Post the intense competition, a ceremonial medal presentation took place, led by Mr. Chanchai Kransoot, acknowledging the achievements of winners in various divisions. The awards were distributed by the Hua Hin Shooting Sports Association, ensuring a fitting conclusion to a spirited and safe event.
