HUA HIN, March 18 – Sansiri PLC, one of Thailand’s leading real estate developers, has ventured into Hua Hin, unveiling two new projects, including the sold-out ‘Pool Villas’ priced at 100 million baht each, situated along the pristine coastline.
In a statement made on March 18, Mr. Ong-Art Suwannakul, Assistant Managing Director of Sansiri’s Condominium Development Division, revealed the company’s remarkable performance in 2023, recording a net profit of 6.06 billion baht, the highest in its 40-year history. This success has propelled Sansiri to advance further according to their strategic plan titled “Navigating the Future: Resilient Growth,” focusing on expanding projects in key tourist destinations and major provinces.
Highlighting Hua Hin as a strategic location, Mr. Ong-Art stated, “We have developed 25 condominium projects worth over 31 billion baht in Hua Hin, along with two newly opened projects this year, alongside ventures into the hotel business with two additional establishments.”
Sansiri’s endeavors align with the recovery of major tourist hubs, especially Hua Hin, recognized as a top-tier destination for both Thai and international travelers. The Tourism Authority of Thailand reported a surge in tourist arrivals to Prachuap Khiri Khan province, reaching 11.14 million visitors in 2022, an increase from the previous year, generating an estimated revenue of 44 billion baht.
Mr. Ong-Art further elaborated on Sansiri’s commitment to Hua Hin, stating, “Given the consistent positive response from customers towards Sansiri’s projects in Hua Hin, coupled with the revival of the real estate market in major destinations due to tourism recovery, we are preparing to launch two pre-sale condominium projects worth a combined 6 billion baht.”
Detailing the projects, Mr. Ong-Art mentioned ‘The Standard Residences Hua Hin,’ valued at 4.5 billion baht, marking the first Beachfront Branded Residence in Asia under ‘The Standard’ brand, renowned for its boutique hotels and leading lifestyle offerings worldwide. The development boasts 251 units, ranging from one to three-bedroom layouts, and Beachfront Pool Villas, priced between 8.99 and over 100 million baht, with the latter already sold out.
Additionally, Sansiri is set to unveil a showcase of The Standard Residences Hua Hin units on March 23-24 at The Standard, Hua Hin, marking its debut in Thailand. The second project, ‘Cabanas Hua Hin,’ valued at 1.5 billion baht, offers 426 units with distinctive Portuguese-inspired designs and unique elements such as Azulejos Tiles, starting from 2.39 million baht.
