On April 10, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., the Run Khan Do event, a running activity part of a larger initiative to promote health and tourism in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, held its seventh track session at the Mae Ramphueng Subdistrict in Bang Saphan District. The event was led by Dr. Somkid Chanthamaruk, the Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, and was well-attended by local officials, business leaders, and over a thousand participants, underscoring the community’s enthusiasm for fitness and outdoor activities.

The Run Khan Do initiative, which has been unfolding since February 28, 2024, spans nine sessions, including eight district-level events leading up to a provincial grand finale on May 1, 2024. The seventh track, hosted by Bang Saphan District, brought together government officials, private sector representatives, and local residents, demonstrating a collective effort to enhance health awareness and boost local tourism.

The event took place at the activity grounds of the Mae Ramphueng Subdistrict administrative organization, with the next track, Track 8, scheduled to occur at Wat Bang Berd in the neighboring Bang Saphan Noi District. Participants engaged in the series can share their selfies from the six tracks on the official Run Khan Do line account to receive a special Finisher shirt, provided they also like the event’s Facebook page, fostering a digital community around this health-centric initiative.
