Thailand Hosts Jurassic World 4 Production

Date:

Thailand has been chosen as the filming location for the highly anticipated “Jurassic World 4,” the latest installment in the renowned Jurassic Park series. The Department of Tourism Director General, Jaturon Phakdeewanit, announced that production is scheduled to take place from June 13 to July 16, spanning various picturesque locales across the country, including Bangkok, Krabi, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.

The filming project is poised to make a substantial economic impact, with an estimated injection of 650 million baht into Thailand’s economy. This financial boost will provide support to a range of businesses, including equipment rental, accommodations, venue rentals, transportation, COVID-19 safety measures, and catering services.

Moreover, the Hollywood crew is taking advantage of the government’s incentive program for foreign film productions. Under this program, international productions investing more than 100 million baht in Thailand are eligible for a 20% rebate.

One of the prominent filming locations for “Jurassic World 4” is set to be Huai To Waterfall within Krabi’s Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. The production team has allocated at least a week for shooting at this captivating site. National park authorities are diligently preparing to ensure a seamless and efficient production process throughout the filming period.
