The “Hua Hin Jazzical Festival 2024” will bring world-class jazz performances to Thailand on December 21, 2024, at Bluport Hua Hin Shopping Mall. Organized in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Royal Thai Embassy in Moscow, the festival aims to celebrate music and culture while fostering cultural ties between Thailand and Russia on the 126th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
The festival’s star performer is Igor Butman, a celebrated Russian jazz artist and conductor of the Moscow Jazz Orchestra. Accompanied by the Igor Butman Quintet, he will share the stage with leading Thai jazz musicians in a series of performances blending Thai and international musical traditions. Complementing the music will be cultural showcases, including Thai dance, Khon performances, and other artistic expressions of Thailand’s rich heritage.
The event underscores Hua Hin’s reputation as a destination for art and music, a legacy enhanced by historical connections to His Majesty King Rama IX, who was affectionately known as the “King of Jazz.” Organizers hope to reinforce Hua Hin’s global image as a cultural hub while promoting tourism and economic growth in the region.
Tickets, ranging from 800 to 4,500 baht, are available online, with free admission for certain groups. Attendees can also enjoy food and drink booths featuring Thai and international cuisine. For additional details, visit the event’s official website or contact Bluport Hua Hin via Facebook or Line.
The event will feature a mix of local and international jazz performances, attended by officials, executives, and the public, celebrating the vibrant relationship between Thailand and Russia through music and culture.
