The Lord Mayor of Hua Hin, accompanied by municipal council members and senior officials from various departments, visited the Machinery Center in Soi 102 to observe the process of organic fertilizer production. Representatives from the Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Division, Public Health Administration Division, and Public Parks Department participated in the site visit.
The organic composting process involves collecting branches and leaves from roadside clearings and public areas. These materials are shredded, mixed with cow and chicken manure, and left to decompose for three months. The resulting compost is then used to enrich the soil in public parks across Hua Hin Municipality, promoting sustainability and effective waste management.
This initiative highlights the municipality’s commitment to environmental stewardship by recycling natural waste into a valuable resource for the community.
