Phu Kradueng Draws 2,000 Visitors for Father’s Day Free Entry

Date:

Phu Kradueng National Park in Loei Province experienced a surge of over 2,000 visitors on December 5, 2024, as tourists flocked to enjoy the chilly weather and stunning natural scenery during Thailand’s extended Father’s Day holiday. The fee waiver announced by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation contributed to the high turnout.

Adisorn Hemthanont, head of Phu Kradueng National Park, noted that morning temperatures on the plateau dipped to 13.5°C, with daytime highs reaching 25°C. The area recorded a relative humidity of 95%, creating a perfect environment for morning mist and outdoor activities. Air quality also proved excellent, with PM2.5 levels at 15 µg/m³, well within safe limits for visitors.

“This period marks the high season at Phu Kradueng. The pleasant weather, free from rain, is ideal for hiking, camping, and witnessing breathtaking sunrises and sunsets,” said Adisorn. Visitors can explore the park’s various natural attractions, including trails and viewpoints, under optimal conditions.

Park officials ensured that facilities and staff were ready to accommodate the influx of tourists while urging visitors to maintain cleanliness and follow park regulations to support sustainable tourism.
