Yoga practitioners from Thailand and abroad gathered at Hua Hin’s Khao Takiab Beach on February 21, 2025, for the opening of the Hua Hin Yoga Festival 2025. The event, now in its fifth year, aims to promote wellness tourism and reinforce Hua Hin’s image as an international health tourism destination.
Organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Prachuap Khiri Khan Office, in collaboration with local government and private sector partners, the festival featured a beachside yoga session led by a renowned instructor. The initiative aligns with efforts to encourage healthier lifestyles and attract both Thai and international visitors seeking wellness experiences.
Past editions of the event have drawn significant interest from tourists, including expatriates and young Thai travelers. The combination of yoga and Hua Hin’s coastal scenery continues to enhance the city’s reputation as a key destination for health-focused tourism.
The festival was officially inaugurated by Mr. Sittichai Sawatsean, Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, alongside representatives from the TAT, Hua Hin Municipality, and local tourism associations. A large crowd of yoga enthusiasts attended the session, enjoying the serene sunset setting in front of Verso Hua Hin – A Veranda Collection.
