On May 22, 2025, Hua Hin Airport’s Security Committee convened its third meeting of the year to review and coordinate civil aviation safety measures in line with national regulations. The session, held in Zone A of the Riche Hotel Hua Hin, was conducted under the framework of the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP), which mandates quarterly meetings to ensure effective security protocols at airports across Thailand.
The meeting focused on enhancing operational preparedness and coordination among relevant agencies, especially under normal and emergency conditions. Discussions emphasized the need for comprehensive response plans, such as full-scale emergency drills and protocols for managing crowd control during public demonstrations. The goal is to align local airport practices with national aviation security standards, ensuring that all measures are both current and operationally sound.
Representatives from municipal departments and local government, including Hua Hin’s acting mayor and emergency response officials, were present. The meeting was chaired by the acting director of Hua Hin Airport.
