Climate change forces community to reconsider water management strategy

Last week Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha opened the Water and Waste Management International Conference & Expo Thailand. During his opening speech, the Prime Minister assured that the government is continuing its efforts to solve the problems related to water management in order to secure the future of the Thai community. On this occasion, the Prime Minister indicated that the difficulties were increasing due to climate change, but reaffirmed that with the active participation of the population which plays a major role, the government was determined to meet this ecological challenge.

The Prime Minister concluded by thanking all the participants present at the conference and reaffirmed that everyone shared the same objective, which is to preserve water and use it in the most responsible way possible.
