Hoteliers can receive basic instruction in life-saving techniques from Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin.
A programme known as “BDMS Lifesaving Training” was recently conducted for the staff members of forty different hotels located in the Hua Hin-Cha-am area.
Assistant Director of Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Dr. Pongsak Boonyaleephan was in charge of the opening of the “BDMS Lifesaving Training” project, which was held for the 5th time for representatives from 40 hotels in the Hua Hin-Cha-am area. The project was held in Hua Hin.
The event, which took place in the Hua Hin District at the Hua Hin Grand Hotel and Plaza, was attended by approximately eighty people. The group was instructed in fundamental life-saving techniques by Mr. Chetphon Manichai, the Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager; Ms. Praewphan Charoen Srithongkul, an emergency room professional nurse lecturer from Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin; and Mr. Pongdanai Thepwanikorn, the head of Sawang Hua Hin Thammasathan Rescue Service.
According to Dr. Pongsak, the objective of this training is to educate hotel employees on the fundamentals of life support so that they will be able to assist customers in the event of an unexpected emergency. Participants were instructed in both the theory and the skills necessary to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automatic external defibrillation (AED), and patient support using mannequins as teaching tools.
BDMS will award a certificate to participants who complete the training successfully. This is based on the idea that you can learn and practise with the assistance of expert speakers and international standards to gain the knowledge and confidence you require even if you are not a medical professional. This can help you gain the knowledge and confidence you need.
