Prime Minister Wishes Muslims a Blessed Ramadan This Year

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has sent a statement to celebrate the start of Ramadan 1444 Hijri.

In a video greeting published on Facebook and shown on Thai national television, Gen Prayuth expressed his love, thoughts, and best wishes to all Thai Muslims and Muslims throughout the globe as they commemorate the holy month of Ramadan. The Premier thanked all those who would take part in the religious observance and urged them to pursue their faith sincerely and achieve success in all their activities.

Gen Prayuth also emphasized the importance of Ramadan as a time for cleaning the body and mind and focusing on the teachings of the Holy Quran. He urged all Thai Muslims to be strong in their quest of virtue and to support and care for their families, communities, and nation.

The Prime Minister closed his speech by requesting respect for Islamic teachings and all Muslims in Thailand, as well as wishing everyone safety, happiness, and success. He highlighted the necessity of being a constructive influence in society and contributing to the country’s prosperity and stability.
