“Big Cleaning Day” at Hua Don Beach

On March 23, 2023, Hua Don Beach witnessed a significant development in the form of a volunteer activity aimed at cleaning up the area. As the deputy mayor of Hua Hin, Ms. Pailin Kongpan took part in “Big Cleaning Day” as a volunteer project to give back to the community. The primary goal of the activity was to improve the appearance of the beach and make it more appealing to tourists.

To ensure the success of the event, all sectors collaborated. They dealt with various types of solid waste and prepared to clean up and collect any remaining trash from the area around the pier, parking lot, and Hua Don beach. The participants gave their services to the cause with dedication and sincerity. The effort is certain to have a positive impact on Hua Hin District’s tourism industry, attracting more visitors to the area.

Mr. Kittichai Srithongchuai, Hua Hin’s Deputy District Chief, as well as representatives from various organizations, heads of government agencies, Hua Hin Municipality officials, and volunteers, all attended the event. By participating in various activities at the Hua Don beachfront area, the ferry port, Hua Hin District, and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, the participants demonstrated a remarkable sense of community spirit and social responsibility.
